When I first met Tina twelve years ago, I was in terrible shape, couldn’t run 50 yards without being totally out of breath and hated running and working out. I disliked musty boring gyms and did not exercise. Thanks to Tina’s amazing teachings, attitude, inspiration and outdoor orientation — all embodied in her amazing and excellent book — now I am in the best shape of my life and feel like I am getting younger ever year. I run for hours a day now and love to go trail running with my friends. Saturday I ran 11 miles in the remote wilderness over 3 hours and I felt great and ran again for a couple hours Monday. Without her life changing influence, I am sure that I would be old and heart attack prone by now. Instead, now I love to be outdoors trail running, mountain biking, hiking, surfing and having fun. I can cope with stress much better too because of my exercise routine.

What a great book! The author really understands what it takes to be healthy from the inside out. Her advice is not preachy, but supportive and positive. The book is easy to follow with several tips and tricks that you can incorporate into your own routine or follow her 12 week program. For anyone like me…who was tired of paying gym fees and bored with indoor workouts, this is an amazing solution. The workouts are easy to understand and they provide options for all levels of fitness. As a frequent business traveler, the unique ways of exercising anywhere are extremely helpful.
