| I LOVE THIS MAT!!! IT IS PVC rubber and worth every penny. I may buy another. There is NO RUBBER SMELL - which is very important for people with sensitivities to that. I'll have mine for years...feels thick and tough like a tire tread...has a nice grainy texture on top/smooth on the bottem. Won't go wrong ordering one - or two! |

I really wanted a thicker mat, but have been unable to find one. Even the "commercial" mats I've come across on sites specializing in exercise equipment have topped out around 3/8". You can get thicker if you buy the rubber tiles, but I wanted a mat.
That said, the near commercial grade stepper I have on it fits nicely, it did not have any peculiar smells, and it seems that it will last as long as I'm careful.
Now I need a 96" long mat for my Bowflex.... |
