Great treadmill for the $

I have an earlier version of this treadmill. Basically, the same model; same features; same styling. But, I got it about 4 or 5 years ago. I have had but ONE problem with it. I used to leave it plugged in all the time and it got struck by lightning! That zapped the power grid and we had to contact ProForm to get a new one. The new power supply cost us $250.00 about 3 years ago. But, it's been perfect before that happened and ever since it was replaced. I recommend keeping this unplugged except when in use (for obvious reasons). ;)
I am not a fitness guru by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just an average person who happens to like using a treadmill for exercise. I don't run. I'm a walker. This treadmill is absolutely perfect for me and for what I need it to do.
ProForm was easy to work with over the phone and shipped the power board to us relatively quickly. And it was easy to install. So, all in all, considering (1) that I haven't really had any structural or functioning issues and (2) how easy it was to deal with the company, I think it's well worth the cost - which really isn't much as far as treadmills go. |
