tip: remove plastic caps on front pegs
|

| Reviewer: Picky Consumer, |
A number of people have mentioned that pages can be hard to turn sometimes. Just remove the plastic caps on the front pegs. The bare plastic still holds down the pages, and its much easier to turn pages that way.
Additionally, if you place the back pegs just inside the cover (rather than outside the cover), the device doesnt fall off the book if you happen to release the spring momentarily to turn pages or to flip rapidly thru pages. It remains balanced on top of the book because having the back pegs inside the cover holds the flip klip in place even when its 'unsprung'.
To echo the other positive reviews here, this is a lovely little gadget. Hard to improve on it in terms of a portable, slim, easy device that effectively holds a book open.

| I was looking and looking for something that would hold open my book while I was working out on the treadmill in the mornings at the gym -- ran across this little FlipKlip and it really does the trick well. Easy to use, holds the book open so I can read -- only problem that it hasn't solved is how to underline what I'm reading while on the treadmill...let me know when you run across a product that does that! Seriously, great product, inexpensive and does the job! |
Great Little Gadget!

This worked out perfectly with my book and the treadmill. It keeps the book flat and a simple flip up on the clip and you can easily turn the page without halting your workout. The service was very fast also, it shipped the first business day after I placed the order.
Note: I did find this to be a bit smaller and more lightweight than I expected. It worked very well for well broken in hardbacks and the larger trade paperbacks that lay flat easily, but I have had one new hardback where it was a bit cumbersome (but do-able) and I had one fat paperback that the clip would not hold on to at all. Perhaps the inventor can come up with a heavier duty model for those books? No matter, I have plenty of books that will work smoothly, and I am thrilled to be able to read whilst on the cardio -- it goes SO MUCH faster with a good book. |
Not only for the gym!

Great little gadget for reading while exercising on the treadmill but also cool to hold open my recipe book. I like to read in bed and FlipKlip is light weight enough for this purpose holding open my books.
Plus its portable and easy to carry in your purse, gym bag, etc. |

| Since my book kept closing while I was on the treadmill, and they didn't have anything to help me, I was really pleased to find this gadget. It works great and makes my exercise sooooo much easier. Thanks so much. |
