Hard cover was in great shape, but the highlighting was excessive to the point of making some pages difficult to read. Was not worth the discounted price.

The book goes over a lot of information on personal training and the fitness world, including strength and flexibility tests as well as a few simple exercises. It discusses health issues that are commonly run into and the ACSM standards. I say it was good, but not great, because I’ve read other ACSM books that go into more detail over dealing with health issues that many personal trainers face on a regular bases. At the same time, this is the first book from the ACSM that shows exercises in picture form.

The seller was up front regarding the condition of this book…new, but with a crushed corner. It certainly hasn’t affected the vast amount of knowledge contained in this book, however! My only complaint….this is NOT a beginner’s introduction into personal training, but a text that assumes you are already familiar with the business and PT speak. Too many math formulas for this newbie…

only thing I would say about the delivery is that it took 13 days before it arrived!! i called 2x’s and was told 2 different delivery dates. as far as the product, it is a wonderful, fact-filled book that has proven to be very useful
