When I look for a diet books I always look for health and nutrition. The “Diet and Fitness Journal” has the information, but not together. The Journal has in two different sets tables? “food log” tables and “description of food” tables. The tables are different. The “food log” doesn’t include cholesterol and saturated fats tables, and the “Description of Food” tables doesn’t include sodium. Wouldn’t the tables help if both the food log and Description of Food match????

  • I love this journal. It’s small and easy to carry with me. I really like how the pages are designed, because it makes it easy to record and track whatever is important to you. At the end of every week, there is an end-of-the-week section where you may gain a larger perspective of your performance for the week. I have had other diet journals in the past, and I definitely like this one the best.

The only thing I disliked was the nutritional information in the back. I understand the book is small, so it’s difficult to make this comprehensive. However, it would be helpful if the columns were organized in the same order as the daily data sheets. It would also be helpful if they included the same nutritional information as suggested to record on the daily sheets. Usually I use online nutritional information or I just use the nutritional panels on the back of the package, so it’s not really that big of a deal.

Overall, I would definitely buy this book again!!!

  • Everyone knows that you are more successful if you record what you eat, exercise habits, emotions, etc. This is a great little compact book that takes care of everything you could possible need. And, its easy to keep with you – not too large. Great buy for anyone trying to lose weight or achieve fitness. It’s the best one I’ve ever had and I would highly recommend it.

    Many thanks.

  • I found the journal to be excellent for recording food intake and daily exercise regiments. For those individuals with a weight problem, high blood pressure or record keeping “nuts”, such as myself, you’ll enjoy and benefit from this recap. I am being informed and shocked over the amount of sodium that I consumed on a daily basis. It certainly keeps me more aware. The effect of exercise on my diet and calorie reduction was very helpful. You know the old chestnut ” Maybe I can eat this other slice of pizza, if I spend an hour on the treadmill today.” I workout with both weights and cardio machines and so far I am increasing the number and intensity of my exercise sessions. So apparently the journal has made a positive contribution.

I have been using this journal for a month now, and like it. It does a great job of having entries for many elements of fitness/diet plan. Easily allows you to track all the major things like calories, carbs, fat, protein, and many others, the fitness tracking is great also. Love the fact the cover is blank, and is not plastered with “Diet Journal” etc. I wish the boxes where larger to enter numbers in, but other than that perfect.
